Greetings!
All birds squat before they go to the bathroom so you will have to watch it carefully and when you see the slightest indication of the tell-tale squat, rush the bird outside. When they goto the bathroom outside, be sure to give them a special treat, followed by a stroke under the chin and a gentle stroke on the head. They are not going to be as intelligent as a dog, but eventually they should get the idea. Consistency is the key factor here.
Good luck in future endeavors.
