sudden death of sulfur crested cockatoo

this bird died at an unknown cause..it shows no signs of illness..but the necropsy results shows white-spotted liver and spleen...due to this results I can't correlate liver damage with the sudden death of the cockatoo...what is the possible cause of this? Is it viral, bacterial, or fungal infection, or poisoning?
