I have been with my parrot "Clyde" for over 12 years. He has been screaming for years and I cannot take it anymore. It breaks my heart but I can't handle the screaming. Is there somewhere in Alberta that I can take him so he can have a good life.
He is a good bird and can talk and is sweet and loves people and children. I just can't deal with the very loud mind piercing for no reason screaming anymore.
Thanks
Corinna

Hi Corinna
I'm guessing from your username you're talking about an eclectus? I have one also.
It is unusual for them to scream for so long. They can scream on an occasion but it's normally a very short lived thing for them. To keep screaming for years means there is something wrong. It could be anything from boredom to an incorrect diet or food allergy to the noise level in the house or outside making him scream.
You can check out an eclectus forum for some help.
