VERY unusual looking cat!!

I wish I had a picture! I saw this cat that was so so weird! It's head was unusually squashed and flat. It's coat was short, ash grey (and very beautiful!). The hair, I dont know if it was cut this way (I doubt it) was like... imagine a lawn that was cut in patches, all uniform, all short and rectangular, one after the other. It's body was slender and sleek. The cats personality was so loving! It would come right up to you, purr sooo loud and then go immediately to sleep on your lap!! I have never, ever, even seen another cat with such bizarre characteristics. Does anyone know what a cat like this might be? so strange but beautiful to look at!

Well it might be a burmese or Russian Blue breed (there have hair that you can brush in a certain direction and it will stay the way you brushed it unless they brush against something else). same colour as the russian blue... but when I say "squashed head"... I REALLY mean it... it was so flat you kinda wondered if it was real, and then if anything was in there! and the coat was permanent. like it had been painstakingly hand cut to have hundreds of bits cut out of its already short hair. very weird cat!
