Thius cat was photo'ed in PA with a trail camera. This cat has been seen and the pattern is as shown (no digital editting, or lighting problems). The pattern looks like the large storm on Jupiter, hence the name. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what might cause this in a cat's fur ?

Hi. What it looks to me like it might be (and I may be wrong, please feel free to correct me if I am) is a tortoiseshell tabby. It's a slight variation of the tabby line where the pattern joins together into spots instead of into stripes as with regular tabbies.

This looks exactly like my cat. I was told he is a blotched Tabby. I think he is beautiful and wish I saw more cats like him,
