If you think it's infected, you really really really should take her to the vet. If you can't afford medical care for your pets, you shouldn't have pets.
Make sure you keep her litter very clean (if you use a clumping litter you might consider switching to shredded newspaper or something similar temporarily to keep litter out of the wound, and if you can, try to gently wash the wound with an antibacterial soap. You can also use a bit of hydrogen peroxide diluted with water (1 part peroxide to 5 parts water) to clean the wound, but only do this ONCE as peroxide can cause tissue damage, and you could LIGHTLY apply an antibiotic cream like neosporin.
Watch for redness, swelling, or tenderness, or excessive warmth in the area. All of those things indicate a possible infection.
