Albino Cats

were may i find an albino cat?
   
perfurabily with two differnt colored eyes.
   
i live in oregon.

There's a difference between albino cats & white cats.
   
Albino cats are a genetic accident; all albino cats have pink or red eyes and very light pink or white skin. Albino-ism is actually a lack of pigment; it's a mutation.
   
All-white cats, on the other hand, occur in several cat breeds, including regular alley cats, Persians, white Bengals, & some Siamese cats. These cats can have green or blue eyes. Up until recently, blue-eyed cats were deaf due to a link between the white-coat gene & hearing. Breeders are trying to eliminate this problem.
   
Some white cat breeds actually also have color on their tails and/or heads.
   
Finding a white cat with odd-colored eyes is dependent on chance - odd-colored eyes are not the norm, so there's no way to know when it will happen. The odds are against you.
   
As I said earlier, normal "domestic short-haired" cats, aka "alley cats" do come in white. Many of the white cats out there have at least a little color in their fur, even if it's just a little streak of gray on the head or back.
   
My best recommendation is to go to animal shelters & adoption agencies to see if they have one. The Petfinder website has a zip code search function so you can find the cats available near your address. You may find a white cat up for adoption. (The Willamette Humane Society in Salem has an almost-all-white cat available right now).
   
Don't count on finding a "perfect white cat" for yourself. It could take months or years for one to turn up. Consider adopting any cat that needs you.
