My Dog Lost Her Toy

This is probably a silly question, but my dog has a little red rubber train but she has had since she was puppy. I cannot find the toy. This is about the 3rd time I have lost it. She is 13 years old and she is a pomeranian. Does anyone know if you can get a dog to like another toy? This is the only toy I have been able to get her to accept. If I can't find it, I will probably be more upset than she will.
But she mostly wants the toy when she is nervous about other people being in the house or after she eats. I appreciate any advice.

This is not a silly question.
Yes, dogs can learn to love other toys. It's just that she's stuck in a toy rut.
Can you find one that is kindof rubbery like the train, even if it isn't a train? Maybe she likes the texture. Try surfing Amazon & all the pet store websites. Feel toys in the store, see if they feel the same way. Also a similar shape may help, even if it's not exact.
What have you offered her?
Leave the toys she's ignoring lying around where she can see them - for weeks if necessary. Sometimes the dog just has to get used to the concept of playing with the new toy. Little dogs are inherently suspicious; she has to get comfortable with the idea.
(You lost her toy? How? Usually the dog loses the toy - I've been looking for Marlowe's fuzzy carrot for over a month, I have no idea where the animal left it.)
