Dog Breed Name???

We just purchased a puppy that is 3/4 Maltese and 1/4 Shihchon (Shitzu and Bichon). Is there a name for this?

The name for your breed is:

Mutt.

When there's more than 2 breeds involved, it's a mutt.

Those artificially constructed breeds don't apply here.

The breeder we bought him from labeled him as a "Teddy Bear". But after doing some research, it appears that Teddy Bears are usually Bichon and Shih Tzu. Is this correct? This breeder even specifies on his website that Teddy Bears are maltese, shih tzu and bichon, but I don't find that anywhere else. Is he incorrect and could he get into trouble for false advertising/misleading?
