Help my bassett hound is crazy when we leave him!

I have a 2 year old bassett hound who we adopted 2 weeks ago,he has been 2 5 homes before.We also have a 3 year old bassett hound. Our 2 year old dog (The one we adopted) is fine until we leave him in any way e.g pop to the shop, go town even whrn we go to bed! He will just reck the house he will jump at walls and there will be scratching and pools of slober everywere1 Somebody help me!
