Depending on the age of your pets it could be really easy, younger animals are easy to train and if they are young enough do not even know they are supposed to hate each other. Have one room in the house that your cat can go in bu the dog cannot not. I always suggest the kitchen, where most people feed cats. Kitchens are no place for dogs anyways, as feeding them scarps while you cook can be harmful to them and encourages begging. What you are trying to do here is show your dog/s that the cat/s is higher in the pack hierarchy then they are. You always want the smallest animal to be higher than the largest children above the animals and adults at the top. What this will do is show the dog/s that the cat/s are to be respected and are a valid part of the family (or pack in their eyes.) Feed your cat/s first before the dog/s too reinforcing the pack dynamic you wish to achieve. Make sure the dog/s can see the cat/s get to eat first, if they try to take the cat food tell them no firmly. Scuffles between your animals are to be expected and never leave a small animal unsupervised with a larger animal (rats with cats, kittens with dogs a cat has enough strength and claws to protect themselves as a kitten will be too weak and feeble., ect.)
