My dutch rabbit has had her second litter. She dug a nest in our garden and had the babies yesterday. Today we noticed she buried them in the nest with dirt. Did some scanning on the web, one site states its to keep the babies warm. Its late August and hot. Any advise ?

Have you taken her out of the hutch, & checked to see if the babies are alive & moving - without touching the babies of course. You can move stuff out of the way with pencils.

Go to the House Rabbit Society website (linked), & see if they have more information.
