Why do we love our reptiles?

What are the little quirks or habits that just make you love your reptile even more?

For my Russian Tortoise George:
   
1. I love when I catch him yawning on those rare occasions.
   
2. I love that when he sees me he looks at me like, "Food?"
   
3. I love it when he blinks!
   
4. I love it that he thinks he is spider-tortoise and scales walls.
