:)Corn snakes are very good pets, but a Ball Python is probably better for a teenager than a corn snake becase contrary to belief corn snakes can get an attitude at times. Ball pythons get to the size of 3 to four feet and are a heavy bodied species I just got a new baby...I would recommend one of those. Whenever you get a new reptile make sure you go to a reputable breeder because you should get what you pay for not saying that the more you pay the better the animal. NOT AT ALL! Go to your local oet stoer and get a reptile magazine. In the back there should be reptile show and expo dates. Thta is the best lace to buy a reptile or xotice pet!

I disagree. I think that corns are the best choice for beginners -- especially youngsters. Corns are very mild mannered. Bad tempered ones are exceptions. If you have a bad tempered corn it is most likely because you are doing something wrong. Ball pythons get fairly large full grown ... much more so than corns. That translates into bigger prey and bigger bites when they do happen. In America, corns are usually sold from anywhere between $15-$150 depending on how it looks and parentage.
