Lymphoma treatments

My male cocker spaniel, age 13.5 yrs, was diagnosed with lymphoma at probably stage 3. Has any one ever gone through chemotherapy with such a breed at this age? I am discussing treatment possibilities with both holistic and oncology vets. Appreciate any feedback asap. Thank you!
