tumor type growth on stomack

My male lab is approx. 7 yrs old and has developed a growth on his stomack that is growing larger. I'm wondering if this is common to labs & if it is some sort of fatty growth or a tumor?

I have a lab that had a knot come up on her. Took her to the vet and she said it was a fatty deposit. I hear this is common in Lab's, but I would take my dog and have it checked out just to be sure.
