Gerbil hair loss

Hi, I've had my gerbil for about 6 months now. Just recently I had her out and noticed she seems to be missing some hair right near her marking gland on her stomach. It seems to be really irritated, it looks like there is a small amount of blood in her fur around this area. I also noticed within this week that her normal eye discharge has changed to a red-ish color. It may be blood. She has become very irritable and doesn't like when I hold her anymore. I haven't changed anything in her environment. I clean out the cage weekly and take pretty good care of her... What could this be?
