I absolutely love my boxers, we have 2. My female just turned 2 and I think they get terrible twos. Last year we put a fence around our Christmas tree, we thought she would do better this year, no way we have a 7ft. tree decorated three feet from the bottom up. we were shopping one day and she gets bored easily when we came home she had all of our granddaughters presents opened and the boxes chewed. I know Buster had alot to do with it too, he is 7 so he knows alot about opening presents. I was so excited we were actually done shopping in Nov. We even had just sat them by the tree in a large bag. Oh well salvaged everthing even Bree and Buster gotta love them!!!

I love my 2 boxers. Harley we got as a pup & Neo, we adopted from a rescue. They are the most loving creatures in the world. Maybe I'm just biased since I have 2, but they are fantastic. Full of energy, loves & kisses. Neo has become such a lover now. Follows me everywhere. They are smart. They know when I get ready when I'm ready to leave for work. They know at night when its time to go to "momma's bed" when dad is working & lay around while I get ready for bed. They then get to go sleep in their kennels. Neo gives me such a look when I'm getting ready that it almost breaks my heart when I do leave. I love my babies...I wouldn't trade them for the world. Once you go boxer, you never go back.

I have read all of the comments about boxers, and they all speak of what wonderful dogs they are. My family recently lost both of our boxers due to cancer and heart troubles. They truely were the most loyal, protective dogs I have had. My sons(15 &13) can't remember when they weren't here and miss them terribly, as my husband and I do. I'm so happy to see there are so many people enjoying this wonderful breed.

I own two boxers. The female Hobbs is 4 and the male is 1. Hobbs was my first dog and I will never have another kind of dog. She is my big, stubborn and slobbery baby. Billy, was a rescue. He is white and adorable. But unfortunatly damaged by his previous owners. He has bad seperation anxiety and my mother brings him to work everyday, because he wont take to a crate no matter what we do. Hoping someone has some tips for me whose expierenced somewhat of the same thing. And the ears! Hobbs gets very painful ear buildup. Its hell for the poor thing cleaning them everyday. I know this is a common problem with boxers, Billy has dirty ears everyday to. But hers is really extreme, we've tried perscription and non prescription ear cleaners and all natural ones, but it doesnt want to go away. Its as stubborn as she is. Any tips? Thanks,
C.H.

We recently lost our 11 year old boxer. I've owned many breeds throughout my childhood and adult life and I must say this was by far the most rewarding. Note, THEY ARE NOT FOR EVERYONE as they are a high energy level dog - mixed with intelligence, they can get into much mischief if they aren't given enough exercise, mental stimulation, and training. Our boxer was extremely freindly and extremely protective of our family, especially our 2 children. There were very few people she didn't trust but I knew if she didn't trust them then I shouldn't. PHENOMINAL WITH CHILDREN...We had our boxer before children and she welcomed them as if they were her own kids. Never ever showed any aggression, even when her ears or jowels were pulled on. She stayed true to her temperment to the end, even in old age. I trusted this dog with my children more than I trusted other people. We have tons of stories on how she watched over our family, including instinctively positioning herself between our fireplace and our baby as he crawled on the floor. Loyal, trustworthy, protective, funny, and extremely loving. I can't say enough about this breed.
