Spike the Mixed Breed (White) Cat

On Tuesday August 19, 2003 my best buddy Spike passed away. We had been together for a long time. The little guy picked me out as the person he wanted to adopt. It was Memorial Day weekend 1987. His mother, Rainon, belonged to a girlfriend's brother. I named him Spike after a Tom Petty song as we drove back to Michigan. Spike used to travel with me every weekend between Akron and Flint or Detroit. Spike was a friendly and intelligent cat. I loved him very much and miss him now so badly. He was the best friend I have ever had. Spike had a wonderful personality. He would talk to me and express whatever thoughts he had. He meant everything to me.
Spike, you were the best kitty ever. You made my life so much better. I miss you terribly. Thank you for everything.
Love Jeff
